Chapter 347 Three Weeks Pregnant 

Chloe stiffened, uncertain herself about the situation 

“Whore child is it?” 

This question ignited a fire in Chloe. “Michael, damn you!” 

Michael took a deep breath, saying, “Chiloe, I don’t want to argue with you. I just want an explanation. What happened at the airport?” 

James, with a sly grin, interjected, enjoying the drama and eager for a fight between the two, “What else could have happened? You probably heard the gossip from those people…” 

As Michael and James locked eyes, the tension bebrern them was palpable. 

After a moment, Michael averted his gaze 

He didn’t believe that the child Chloe carried was James 

Although Chloe felt utterly disappointed by him recently, he knew she wasn’t a frivolous woman, let alone someone who would casually sleep with another man and end up pregnant.. 

Just then, the doctor entered, holding a report. 

“Chloe, your report is ready.” 

Stepping forward, Michael asserted, “I’m her husband. Is she pregnant?*

“Your wife is in the hospital sick, and all you care about is the child?”

But within seconds, the phone rang again.

“If it’s urgent, step out and take it.” 

She thought, “Probably Lucy or some other random chick ringing him up agnia!“. 

Glancing at the screen, Michael saw it was Ethan calling. 

Ethan rarely called when he wasn’t in the office, so it must be important 

Despite the urgency, Michael didn’t want to miss Chloe’s diagnosis results. 

At this moment, the doctor noticed a missing document in the report. 

“Wait here, I’ll be right back,” he said to Chloe, who nodded. 

As the doctor left, Michael took the opportunity to answer the call

“Where’s your husband ?”

While James had considered the possibility of her being pregnant, hearing it confirmed was still surprising,

“Doctor, how is this possible? I’ve been using contraception, and… I even took a pregnancy test before, which was negative!” 

“Pregnancy tests can sometimes be inaccurate, and contraception isn’t foolproof. Can test results be wrong?” 

Chloe hesitated, feeling incredulous as she touched her belly. 

She thought. “Is there really a new life growing inside me?” 

After a moment of contemplation, she suddenly snapped back, saying “James, help me close the door to the room!” 

James complied, even locking it. 

Chloe then turned to the doctor. “Doctor, can you keep my pregnancy a secret from my husband for now?”
