Chapter 377 Don't Be Unreasonable

Chloe was surprised, thinking, "Is Ms. Cooper James' fiancée?"

James came out of the elevator at that moment. Seeing Chloe standing still, he whispered, "Are you standing here in a daze? Come in with me."

The employees around him all immediately shut their mouths the moment they saw him.

Inside the office, Chloe sat on the sofa glancing James from head to toe.

"Is this the first day you've seen me? Or am I just too charming for you to avert your gaze today?"

Chloe had been staring at him since she came in.

James felt very embarrassed.

Chloe heard it and sighed, "I didn't realize Mr. Dale was getting married soon. Congratulations!"

James frowned. "What are you babbling about?"

"What? Aren't all your fiancées working at the company? The employees out there have known about it all."

James took off his glasses.

"Fiancée? Did you hallucinate from what you ate and were poisoned?"

James didn't know he had a fiancée.

Chloe recounted what she had just seen outside herself.

"Isn't Ms. Cooper your fiancée? She's so arrogant."

If she casually fired an employee, she'd be in arbitration.

James looked furious after hearing that.

Vicky Cooper was Asher's nominal niece. Although she and James were about the same age, they remained in the same relationship.

She had worked at the Bright Moon International before, and James hadn't paid much attention to her.

He would at most greet Vicky when he occasionally bumped into her at work for the sake of Vicky being Asher's niece.
