Jessica couldn't hold back. "That's a pretty weak excuse."

William looked frustrated. "I'm telling the truth. I was at the restaurant working on new recipes that day. The restaurant's security footage can prove it. If you doubt me, we can go there and check it out."

"Why go to your restaurant? If you're innocent, the police will clear things up."

Chloe stood behind, agreeing with the logic. With that, they all headed to the police station with William.

At the station, the officers reviewed the two video clips and pondered the situation.

The officer rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "The footage hasn't been altered, and the timings match up."

Michael frowned. "So what does that mean?"

"It means there might really be two different people."

Candy stood up angrily. "That's ridiculous! The footage clearly shows him pushing someone, and now there's a new video claiming it wasn't him. How can the police just accept this without questioning it further?"

Chloe also suspected the restaurant footage might be a fabrication.

"Let me examine the video. I can verify if the timestamps have been tampered with."

Given her expertise, no one questioned her authority.

After about ten minutes, Chloe looked astonished as she reported, "The timestamps haven't been changed."

The room fell silent, with everyone struggling to make sense of the situation.

Officer cleared his throat to refocus everyone.

"Do you have a twin or a close relative who looks exactly like you?"
