After the meal, Asher and Michael walked out of the restaurant 

and sent her to the car. 

Thera got in the car. Then, she lowered the window and said, “Mr. Shawn, I’m looking forward to working with you. See you later.” 

Michael nodded politely. “Goodbye, Ms. Travis.” 

After Thera left, Asher bumped into Michael’s shoulder and said, “Michael, when did you become so numb? Do you know that you can’t say you are married in front of a single female entrepreneur? Besides, you are not married.” 

Asher thought, “He said Chloe is his wife. Does Chloe know that? Does Chloe agree?” 

“What does it have to do with me whether she’s single or not?” 

Michael rarely asked questions, and he asked very sincerely this 

time. 

Asher was stunned and didn’t want to bother with him.

trouble lately.”

“She wanted to get married this year, but it’s just a few months away now. Is she crazy? She didn’t want to get married before, and now she wants to. Are all women so hard to guess?” 

Michael nodded when he heard this. “Yes.” 

“Didn’t she like James? She was determined to be with James, 

but now she has given up?” 

Asher really couldn’t understand. Vicky had been going on blind dates these past few days, meeting almost ten guys a day. He nearly thought she had mental problems. 

“Do you think there is a possibility that James doesn’t like her?” 

After all, Michael saw the whole thing in the villa that day and knew what James had said to Vicky.
