After Rebirth She Strikes Back (Simone) novel Chapter 129

Chapter 129

Raymond stared at Stella, eyes rimmed red. No way.

Thinking back to what he saw when he first woke up, Raymond blurted out, When I came to, you were the only one in the room. Later, the maids told me you looked after me for a whole day and night.

And wasn’t Simone off at the amusement park, goofing around? There’s no way it was her.

Is it really impossible, or do you just not want to face the truth?Stella looked at him, exasperated, then let out a mocking laugh. Raymond, you Spence family members really are hopeless.

Think about itI’ve always been the one getting pampered at home. How could I possibly be the one taking care of someone else?

Raymond’s face went a little pale, but Stella didn’t care. She just sneered and kept going. Besides, all the maids are paid by my mom. Do you really think they’d dare tell you the truth?

And Simone never even went to the amusement park,” Stella suddenly grinned, as if she’d remembered something funny. Honestly, that poor girl probably never even set foot in her whole life.

Want to guess where she really was?Stella asked, smiling at Raymond.

Raymond frowned. Where was she?

That poor thing took care of you for a whole day and night until her body just gave out. She got sick and collapsed in bed, and no one even noticed for two days.

It wasn’t until Samuel came home that someone finally found her and rushed her to the hospital. She almost died that time, you know.Thinking about how miserable Simone was as a kid, Stella felt a twisted sense of satisfaction.

Stella, how could you be so cruel?Raymond stared at Stella in disbelief, his whole body turning cold and rigid.

He remembered that incident perfectly. Simone really had been rushed to the hospital by the family, but everyone insisted she just got sick from staying out too long and catching a chill.

Back then, he’d thought Simone was just being dramatic. When he went to see her in the hospital, he even told her she deserved it. He really had been a jerk.

Thinking about all the things he’d done to Simone over the years, Raymond’s face grew even darker.

In that moment, a flood of memories hit him all at once.

Raymond looked at Stella with disgust and demanded, Stella, tell me those game gift boxes I got every year, who actually sent them?

Now that the Spence family was useless to her and only holding her back, Stellà hardened her heart and answered without hesitation, It was Simone. Only that idiot would spend all her allowance buying you that cheap stuff.

I’d never give you something so tacky. If I hadn’t seen how happy you were getting those gifts, I wouldn’t have bothered pretending they were from

me.

Raymond forced himself to keep going. Then when I was sick, who was the one who gave me blood?

Stella replied, Simone. You lost so much blood back then and who knows if they would’ve drained me dry? That would’ve hurt like hell. No way I’d go through that.

Simone just happened to have the same blood type as you. Anyway, no matter what I said, the family always believed me. I told them it was my blood, and you all just bought it. No one even bothered to check.

Raymond’s heart sank. He couldn’t bring himself to ask anything else.

He knew Stella was telling the truth. She’d always loved expensive things, so there was no way she’d ever buy him something cheap, and she was way too delicate to ever donate blood for him.

So it was Simone all along. At that moment, Raymond felt ice in his veins. He thought, God, what have I been doing all these years?

He remembered how Simone had argued with him more than once about blood donations and gifts.

Raymond almost wished he could forget, but every word he’d ever said to Simone echoed painfully clear in his mind.

Chapter 129

He’d said, Simone, why do you always have to lie? It was obviously Stella who gave it to me, but you keep insisting it was you. If you say that again, I really will hit you.”

He’d said, Simone, if it weren’t for Stella this time, I’d be dead. If you try to steal her credit again, I’ll beat you to death.

Raymond remembered how furious he’d been, lifting his foot and kicking Simone hard in the stomach.

She’d gone pale from the pain, but he’d just accused her of faking it.

He’d been so cruel to Simone. No wonder she wanted nothing to do with him. At that moment, everything finally clicked for Raymond.

Without thinking, he slapped Stella hard across the face.

Gritting his teeth, he snapped, How could you be so vicious? If it weren’t for you, Simone wouldn’t have been wronged, and she wouldn’t have cut ties with the Spence family. This is all your fault.

Stella held her cheek, then suddenly laughed. Raymond, it was your Spence family who didn’t trust her, your family who wronged her. You even hit her yourself. Was I the one who made you do all that?

She added, But if blaming me makes you feel better, then go ahead. With that, worried someone might see her with Raymond, Stella didn’t stick around and left the rooftop right away.

Raymond stumbled back to the classroom, feeling like all the strength had drained from his body.

As soon as Raymond got back to the classroom and sat down, someone kicked his chair hard. When he turned around, he saw a few of his old buddies eyeing him with obvious malice.

Marico smirked and said, Raymond, go grab us all a coffee from that shop up north.” He pulled out a few bright bills and tossed them right in Raymond’s face. I want my coffee here before two.

Raymond was about to refuse, but suddenly remembered how he and Marico used to treat Simone the same way. For half a year, Simone had just

taken their humiliation.
