Chapter 5

My wolf was beaming with excitement while my heart raced with nervousness. I felt him take a step closer to me and immediately took a step back. We continued doing this until I felt my back touch the wall.

His eyes now stared into mine intensly as his arms gripped my waist. I tried to keep my gaze on the floor but the next second I knew his hands pulled up my chin until my eyes met his. My body was on fire. His finger came up to towards my face and he caressed my cheek and then slowly traced my lips.

"I missed you my love." He whispered as he slowly placed his lips on my cheek.

"Stop..." I said as I placed my hands on his chest.

"I....I cant do this." I told him.

He looked at me with confusion in his eyes but before he could say something, I ran downstairs.

I don't know what did just happen.

Through the rest of the dinner i could feel Dorian's intense stare on me. He was sitting in front of me and was constantly putting his foot on top of mine and me being me, I completely ignored it like it was nothing.

But after sometime when the weight of his foot on mine started to hurt, I stamped my foot hard on his. He quickly yanked his foot back which caused the table to move. Everyone lookedat Dorian while i tried hard to hold my laugh.

After dinner everyone sat on the couch while my mom was serving the molten lavas she made. I was lost in the chocolate of the molten lava when Dorians father cleared his throat. Everyone looked at him including me.

"Now i would like to tell you the reason that we came here. As the alphas mate, Sydney would have to move in with Dorian." He declared firmly.

"But mom..." I looked at her pleadingly.

"No dear its a mandatory for a mate to live with her mate and don't worry you are like my daughter. We'll take care of you and fill the kitchen cupboards with nutella." Marindas mom smiled at me.

I could feel Dorians intense stare on me.
