TWINS POV
Leaving Marilyn’s house, we were actually happy with the outcome. We thought we were going to leave there having to explain to our father why we attacked a couple of humans. But knowing that Celie from the Stoneheart pack is the one that Ella has been talking to, that made us feel so much better. We were happier knowing that Ella would be safe with other werewolves watching over her. But now our sole objective was to go to Seattle on the holidays and bring Ella back.
We got in the car and left the house.
Tristan was driving with Nathan called Celie’s number that Marilyn had given us.
Celie had confirmed to us on the phone that Ella was safe and she was looking out for her.
When we got to the school the next day, we were lost in our own thoughts and conversations that didn’t involve anyone else. Planning our trip to Seattle and figuring out how we were going to find Ella.
Tristan was sure that Celie would tell them and Nathan really wanted to go and see her father. Now that they knew who her real father was. It was all starting to make sense now.
But what are the odds of Ella being the daughter of Dean Calvert? I mean, that’s just insane.
As we walked into our first class Leia was already there and she smiled as soon as she saw us.
We just looked at each other and Nathan rolled his eyes and he walked past Tristan to go and sit on the other side of the room from Leia.
Leia walked over to Tristan and started rubbing his arm, but he looked at Nathan before he took a couple of deep breaths before I threw her out a window or through the window while it was closed.
“Are we alright now?” Leia asked. And Tristan turned to look at her with murder in his eyes, causing Leia to recoil slightly.
“If you ever come near us again, then I won’t hesitate to twist that ugly fucking head of yours clean off your body.” Tristan threatened through gritted teeth.
Leia withdrew her hand from Tristan really quickly and she let out a cry of fear, but there was also heartbreak in her eyes. Knowing that she was never going to have the twins' attention again. She’s lost them and for good this time.
“Nicely done.” Nathan said.
“Hopefully now she’s gotten the fucking hint.” Tristan said.
The holidays seemed to take forever to get here. We had a whole plan set out and we were eager to get it done. We couldn’t wait any longer.
So we got to Anchorage and boarded a flight to Seattle.
Even the flight seemed to take forever when we knew that we were so close to seeing Ella again. She is all we’ve been able to think about since that night that we spent together.
We never expected her to take off the way she did. But it doesn’t surprise us after what Leia did to her the day after. And I hope she doesn’t think that we’re pissed at her for what she did. We could never be pissed at her. She just found out about werewolves, that she was our mate, that she was destined to break a curse. It was a lot to take in. And then being attacked by another werewolf. We probably would have done the same thing if the roles were reversed.
Celie had given us an address to go to, so once we landed in Seattle we were about to get a car to the Alpha’s house, but we received word from Celie as soon as we got in the car.
Celie told us that Ella had disappeared and it sent a chill down both of our spines.
We knew that she was safe when we first called Celie, but now we weren’t so sure. We should have come as soon as we found out where she was. Why did we have to fucking wait?
We still headed to the Alpha’s house and when we knocked on the door a familiar looking girl answered it.
She looked at us with wide eyes as soon as she saw us and then we realized that she had been going to our school in Alaska. She was really interested in us before we told her that we weren’t interested.
“We’re looking for Alpha Dean.” Tristan said. So she opened the door wider without saying anything to us.
We stepped inside the large mansion looking house and she took us to the office and knocked on the door.
As soon as the door opened Alpha Dean saw us standing there and he told his daughter to go upstairs and he invited us into the office.
“We’re looking for Ella.” Nathan said.
“That makes two of us.” Dean said, walking back over to his desk where there were papers scattered everywhere.
“You’re gonna have to help us understand this. She was staying with you. She’s your daughter. How the hell has she disappeared?” Nathan said.
“My mate didn’t want her here. She asked Ella to leave.” Dean said.
“And you just kicked her out? Your own fucking daughter?” Tristan yelled.
“Do you think I wanted it like this? I would have taken Ella when she was a baby if I thought that would have done any good. I wanted her to have a childhood with her mother before I bought her in on all of this. But then shit got too tough and it was harder to tell my mate and daughter about her. My daughter always thought she was going to be Alpha of this pack. You can imagine how pissed she’s been since she found out that’s not the case.” Dean yelled back.
It turned into a real screaming match between the three of us before we realized that it wasn’t getting us anywhere if we were just pointing the finger at each other.
So Dean finally showed us his efforts to find Ella and we didn’t have much to share, but we gave him what we had about her as well.
