Alpha Twins And Their Hybrid Mate novel Chapter 65

I kept looking everywhere around behind me, seeing if there was anyone hiding in the trees, but I still could see anyone. I couldn’t shake the sense that someone was watching me. It was making me really nervous and I guess I was letting it show.

“What’s wrong?” Sara whispered.

“I don’t know. I’ve got this weird feeling that someone’s watching us.” I said.

“Maybe it’s the people we’re here with.” She said. But I shook my head while still looking behind me.

“I don’t think so.” I said.

“Do you want to go home? We can if you want.” She said.

“No. It’s alright. We can stay. You said that you wanted to go for a run later. We can stay for that.” I said. And she nodded her head with a smile. I knew that it would make her happy to go for a run through the forest in her wolf form. I wasn’t going to stop her from having fun just because I was feeling uneasy about something that I couldn’t even explain.

We had to wait until everyone was asleep that night and Sara and I were outside in our sleeping bags, staring up at the sky.

Sara was fine outside because she was a werewolf. And I was fine outside because it wasn’t the first night I’d spent outside. But that was just because of a shitty childhood. At least this time I had a sleeping bag.

When we were sure that everyone was asleep Sara got up and said that she was going for her run.

“Alright. If you’re not back before midnight then I’m calling Dean.” I said.

“Would you please have a little faith in my abilities? I can take care of myself.” She scoffed as she was undressing, leading to the trees just past the clearing that we were in.

I made sure that I stayed awake so I sat up and I pulled my phone out of my pocket.

I didn’t know if the twins were still awake or not. I really wanted to talk to them, but I didn’t want to wake them up. I know that they’re on Alpha duties this weekend so they are going to be really busy.

I sat there looking at my phone, playing games and trying to keep my mind occupied. But pretty soon midnight came and went. And Sara didn’t come back like she was supposed to.

She promised that she would be back and she knew that I would worry about her if she wasn’t back on time.

I waited around getting more worried by each passing second, but by the time it reached 1am I couldn’t stand it any longer. I got up and I put my boots and jacket on and the teacher came out of his tent.

“Where do you think you’re going?” He asked.
