Sara had heard everything I said about breaking the curse and even she was getting emotional that she might have a chance to find her mate. I knew that she wanted a mate, but she was scared that he was going to try and take the pack from her and he was going to be the Alpha. If he was her fated mate then he wouldn’t do that because his main goal would be to make her happy. And this is what was going to make her happy. She had been groomed her whole life to take over that pack. She wasn’t going to let someone come in and just take it over and push her to the side. It was never going to happen.

“I think I’m going to stay in Seattle when you guys go home.” Sara said.

“What? For how long?” I asked.

“Well, I know a few places to do research around here. One of them is in dad’s pack. They won’t refuse me entry to it. It’s a proper library but it is full of so many ancient books. I do believe that I might be able to find something there that has to do with this witch that cursed us.” She explained.

“Are you absolutely sure about this? I mean, I didn’t mean for you to be put right in the middle of it.” I said.

“I’m sure. You and the twins go home. I can handle things in dad’s pack. I’ll find everything I can and I’ll keep you updated on everything I find. I promise.” She said.

“And Sara knows how to take care of herself a lot better than you do right now.” Nathan said.

“We’re still training.” Nathan said. And I smirked at him.

“If you need anything or if you get into any trouble at all, then you call me.” I said.

“I will. I know that you’ll be here in a heartbeat which means the twins will be here in a heartbeat as well. Following you.” She said. And I smirked, knowing that’s exactly how it would happen.

So we only stayed in Seattle overnight. There was nothing to worry about with school or anything because we only made a weekend out of it. But when we got back home, things got a lot more intense.
