Alpha Twins And Their Hybrid Mate novel Chapter 82

Even though Alaska is a very remote location, the Blackwood Pack and the Heartstone pack are really powerful. Despite only having about 200 members in total. But I do know that the Heartstone pack had started accepting new members after they moved to Seattle. Now they were growing a lot faster than the Blackwood pack and are now totally around 800 members.

Dean knows that if he comes up against a pack of thousands then his pack is definitely more insufficient and definitely won’t have a chance to negotiate with them.

Not if the higher ups are the ones that want me dead. And if they know that he’s my father, which they probably do by now, then there’s no way larger packs are going to side with him.

The twins and I had gotten dressed and we headed down to the office where Alpha Robert was waiting for us because the twins had called him.

He knows the Supreme Council. We’ve never met them before. So he might be able to give a little insight into the whole situation.

The twins explained everything to Alpha Robert while I was sitting on the couch listening to everything they had to say. Especially Alpha Robert.

“I honestly think that just the appearance of the white wolf has scared them. And with Ella being the daughter of the Heartstone Pack’s Alpha, she’s also our mate. That’s a dangerous combination to them. They think of her as a threat when she hasn’t done anything to them at all.” Tristan said.

“Once the two packs merge, we will pose a much bigger threat to other packs. They want to kill Ella to stop the Alaskan packs from growing any further.” Nathan said. Robert did agree with them, but he had more to say about it.

“It’s not just that. They want to avoid the white wolf’s disrupting the balance of the current Supreme Council. They have passed down these seats on the council for centuries. They have always chosen who they want to replace them and now, with a white wolf, there’s a chance that she can wipe them all out.” Robert said.

“Why would I even want to do that?” I asked.

“They don’t know you. They just know the stories of you. And your power.” Robert said.

I could feel the twins worrying again and I looked over at them with a raised eyebrow.

“We’re worried that you might be in danger again.” Tristan admitted.

I looked at them and I looked out the window for a minute. I had so much going on inside my head that I needed to get my thoughts straight.

“I’m a shifted white wolf. I have essentially become the strongest wolf in existence, right?” I asked.

“Yeah. That’s right.” Robert asked.

“Well, the Alpha’s on the Supreme Council should be afraid. They sent someone to kill me without even holding a meeting to meet me. They jumped to conclusions and tried to kill me. So, they are the ones that should be afraid now.” I said, looking back at the twins and their father with determination on my face. I was more determined now than ever that they were going to pay for what they have done to me.

My own kind was trying to kill me because they don’t understand me. That’s just ignorance. They don’t want to get to know me, they don’t want to do the research on white wolves. They just want to believe that we’re dangerous to the werewolf species. And that’s not what I ever had planned.

That’s something that I never wanted anyone to think of me.

“You’re going to go after them?” Nathan asked.

“I’m going to let them know that they picked the wrong wolf to fuck with. We’re going to concentrate on developing this pack. And when the time is right, we’re going to take a seat at the Supreme Council’s round table and have our own say. We’re gonna have a fair dialogue going where no other wolf will ever be put in the position that they are putting me in right now.” I said.

“Well, I’ve stepped down. I don’t have a say in this.” Robert said.

“We’re going to follow Ella. If that’s what she wants to do. If she wants to follow her goal and give white wolves that chance to be heard. We’re not going to stop her.” Nathan said.

“Never.” Tristan said. I looked over at Robert and he actually got a grin on his face. He was proud of us for what we were doing right now. For standing up against these assholes instead of backing down. For the guys sticking with their mate and not being intimidated by the council. He was definitely impressed.

“Well, it looks like you’ve all got a fight ahead of you.” Robert said.

After Robert left we all stayed in the office and I stood up to look out the window.

I could see the moon and stars above the forest outside the packhouse and it was a beautiful scene.
