Alpha Twins And Their Hybrid Mate novel Chapter 84

“White wolf,” the room was filled with murmur, all were discussing only one thing and that was my origin.

The boy’s eyes glinted as he moved toward me. I could feel the tension rise in the air, thick and heavy like a storm about to break.

Nathan didn’t waste a second, stepping to my side and pulling me into his arms. His grip was firm, but I could feel the fear lacing his protectiveness.

Tristan, however, was more direct. He stepped in front of me, his broad shoulders blocking my view of Ryan entirely. "What do you want? Ryan" Tristan growled, his voice low, warning.

Ryan smirked, unfazed by the hostility radiating off the twins. His gaze shifted past Tristan and landed on me, that glint in his eye intensifying. "It’s not about what I want," he said, his voice smooth and calm, as though we were simply discussing the weather. "It’s about what *you* want, Ella."

My stomach tightened.

"You want answers, don’t you?" Ryan’s words were quiet, almost coaxing. "I can give them to you. About the white wolves. About the things no one else will tell you."

The mention of the white wolves sent a chill down my spine. That mystery had been gnawing at me since the moment I’d first heard the whispers, the legends. If Ryan truly had answers, it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.

"I can meet you tonight," he continued, “Eight o’clock. The clearing by the old riverbed. Alone."

Nathan tensed beside me, his arm tightening protectively. "You’ve got to be kidding if you think she’s going anywhere alone with you," he spat.

"It’s your choice, Ella." His focus was entirely on me.

For a long moment, I didn’t say anything. Tristan turned slightly, his eyes burning with disbelief as he searched my face. "You’re not seriously considering this," he said, his voice edged with frustration.

But I *was* considering it. I need answers.

"I’ll be there," I said, my voice steady, though my heart was pounding.

Nathan let out a curse, and Tristan’s face twisted with barely contained fury. "Ella, no—"

"I’m going," I interrupted, locking eyes with Ryan. "I’ll meet you at eight."

Ryan’s smirk grew, satisfied, and he turned to leave without another word. The twins stood there, seething, their anger palpable.

The Alpha Conference began soon after, the grand hall filling with packs from all over the region. I barely registered the formalities, the speeches. My mind was focused on the meeting with Ryan and the secrets I might finally uncover. But then, everything shifted when Alpha Rambo, took the stage as the keynote speaker, who I later found out happens to be Ryan’s father.

The moment his gaze landed on me, his expression darkened. His voice boomed through the hall, commanding and cold. "Why is she here?"

His words cut through the crowd like a knife, and all eyes turned toward me. I stood tall, refusing to shrink under the weight of his glare.

"I want her escorted out immediately," Alpha Rambo barked, his eyes narrowing with contempt.
