Alpha's Second Chance novel Chapter 257

Hello all.

First. Thank you all for your support and for reading my books. I hope you enjoyed the last two stories. I have been sick but am making plans for another small one about one more of the kids: Noah. Enjoy it.

NOAH

Before I knew it, I stood up, looking around in my dark room, confused, my powers exploding around me again.

“Noah!” I hear Dad’s voice but don’t register it properly before he turns on the light.

“Noah, focus, son. Look at me!” He demands, but it doesn’t work on me anymore, but I look at him anyway.

“Breathe slowly.” He says, and I do as he says.

“Good, keep going. You can do it. You don’t want to hurt people, your mom, sisters, the pack.” He says calmly.

And I don’t, but I have a hard time controlling my aura, or we can call it power, ever since my first change in the basement where Rose and I had been held prisoner. I steady my breath to follow Dad’s, and it works. I slowly calmed down.

“Sorry, Dad, I am sorry,” I say almost in a whisper.

“Don’t be sorry, son. It is not your fault. No one blames you for going through this.” Dad says and hugs me. And soon after, I feel Mom join the hug, too.

“Sorry, mom,” I say, I hate hurting her.

“Oh, don’t be silly. A little power won’t hurt me.” She says, but I can hear traces of pain in her voice and nod my head.

“Go back to bed, son,” Dad says. And I nod my head.

“You okay, brother?” I hear Nadia from the door and see her and Nora looking in. And nod my head again. They all leave my room, and I sit on my bed, concentrating on breathing.
