Chapter 46 Argument 

“She wanted to leave, and there is nothing surprising in it, but she was lucky that I arrived just in time. The weird fact is that, dad asked me to protect her, just before it happened.”

“He asked me to see hint. I did. He asked me to keep Alice safe until he gets to know more about the situation.” 

“What situation?” 

“I don’t know, Gideon. The only thing that I know is there is a man. He showed me information about him, and I think he is related to what is happening, but I know nothing else. You know him. He likes puzzles. He said he doesn’t want to tell more until he puts the pieces together.” 

I knew that well. Dad always gave us jobs, and direction, but he often told us everything in the end. It was annoying, of course, but we couldn’t do anything about it.

About an hour passed, when Alice and Ava left the ice, we stood up and walked to them. 

“Are you tired enough?” 

Seth asked her little one, who looked at him with a broad smile and with her rosy cheeks, shaking her head. 

“No, daddy, we are not tired, we are hungry.” 

“Good then. We can have lunch. Gideon, Alice, are you coming with us? Leah is out shopping. We’ll meet her in the city for lunch.” 

I folded my arm around Alice’s waist, and I looked at them apologetically. 

“Seth, I think that is better if we are going home and having lunch there.”

“Alice, are you not coming with me?” Ava looked at her, disappointed.

“There are junior competitions, but to compete with the adults she needs to be fifteen, at least at the moment.”
