Chapter 66 The funeral
Riccardo
I sat down of my desk after I listened to Carlo. What I heard shocked me. I have been looking for Fiorella for many yes as I wanted to find her to take my revenge on her. To give her what she deserved after betraying me
The news of her death didn’t really make me happy. I would have rather done it myself, but to know how much she suffered next to that rat gave me some kind of satisfaction. I didn’t even know Charles helped her to escape. Even if he became my first target, Fiorella’s death meant I had another important thing to get done,
“What about Alice? I looked at Carlo, who lowered his head.
“I apologize, Riccando, The Sullivans are protecting her really well. We had no chance to get close to her yet.”
“How is that possible?” I asked him in anger. His words made me fuming. Not just because I wanted Alice, but because I couldn’t believe that my guys were just not smart enough to win against the damned Sullivans
“Gemma said Gideon is into her, and the whole family is guiding her.”
me laugh.
His words made me
“Gideon only needs holes to fuck. It can’t be serious.”
However, Carlo’s seriousness didn’t put me at ease.
“She said Gideon bought her to be his wife because he hoped to fool you. After the accident, he wanted to protect Gemma, but he changed towards her.”
I thook my head.
“Gemma told me everything about that sight. Gideon treated her as his enemy, forcing her to speak. Gideon confessed his love for Alice in the front of them. Gemma hates her, so she has no reason to lie. She would be thrilled if we finally had Alice in our hands.”
“Oh, she will. But hold your whore luck, Carla Alice is mine. You must bring her to me.”
“Understood Signo
“Go now. Leave me alone.” I said after a sigh.
Carlo nodded and stood up. He walked to the door and left without a word. I just sat there, thinking. Surely, that ret hid himself somewhere, watching the happenings. He fooled me like no one before, and that made me faming. I knew I only would be at ee 1 tartared him to death.
I checked the clock. Surely, my loved ones slept this time. I sat down, but my mind didn’t want to rest. My nerves couldn’t be at ease and I knew I couldn’t fill asleep like that. I would only disturb Alexandra

I poured another. I closed my eyes while I sat there, holding the glass in my hand, helping my brain to think.
1 sat there for a while with closed eyes, trying to relax, but my eyes opened in astonishment when I felt soft hands caressing my shoulders, slipping down on my chest. And soon I could feel her warm breath on my ear while she whispered to me.
“You look so tired, and you are so stiff. Let me help you relax,”
I smiled, closing my eyes back while I enjoyed her massage, but she broke the silence soon.
“Are you still thinking about her?”
I opened my eyes again and sighed.
“Alexandra, if you would know how I feel after all they have done to me??
“I know, I see you every day and I can feel how much it hurt you, but you shouldn’t worry too much, You are a prominent leader, who gets what he wants, eventually”
“The Sullivans are guiding her. I can’t go close in her. And that rat is hiding so well.” I sighed again.
She remained quiet, but didn’t stop massaging me. A few minutes passed when I felt her hand caressing my face. She moved in front of me, and she sat on my lap facing me. In this position, her beautiful breasts were in line with my chin. She only wore a light, silk, green–colored nightgowns, which left her breasts‘ nearly

uncovered. That turned me on, of course.
She smiled at me.
“Do you need help?” She asked, but I knew, this time, she meant this case, despite nur intimate position.
“No, I didn’t mean that, leastwise, not yet.” I chuckled, and I couldn’t hold myself back from touching her. My palms cupped her feasts and my thumbs stroked her hard nipples through her nightgown.
“You know, dear, since I married you, I don’t want you to get involved in any businesses of mine.”
“I know, but this wouldn’t be the same. The Sullivans don’t know me. I presuming they don’t even know how I look”
“Staybe, nevertheless, I can’t let you get hurt, Alexandra. And think about Mattes Boo”
“Well, I have an iden, so let’s make a deal, I will tell you about it, and you can decide if you w
you want to use it. How is that?”
“Drel.” I said, but even if the case occupied my mind, at that moment there was something else that I really wanted. I held her tight, and I stood up, keeping her in my arms. She wrapped her legs around my waist, and I carried her into our bedroom. As soon as I laid her on the bed, I literally are that nightgown into two pieces.
The funeral took place in Montreal I was grateful for the Sullivans, my new family, for taking the burden off of my shoulder. We only put the obituary in the local newspaper. I didn’t expect amone to come, but the Sullivans said we are one family, and they are always there for their family members. That was new to me, but it felt nice.
We travelled to Montreal a day before the funeral, Caden worried a bit about my safety, but I could to take him out for a wall. I thowed him my favourite places. Even though we came to bury my mother, we had a pleasant time.
The next day came quickly. I wore a black women’s suit with suitable makeup, and I put my hair in a bun. When I looked in the minor, I saw a different woman. That was the first time in my life when an adult woman looked back at me. A little overwhelmed by emotions, but definitely grown up
