ANAMIKA'S POV

I don't know what happened but suddenly everything went dark, I have been roaming in this unknown empty dark place for a long time like a lost puppy.

"Where am I?..."

Suddenly I saw one white door, running towards it I opened the door and quickly covered my eyes due to the sudden brightness. This time I slowly opened my eyes and took in my surroundings.

Everything is white here, surrounded by white flowers and trees. White birds were flying high in the clear blue sky and as far as I can see everything is white, and on top of that I am in a white gown too... What is happening here? Why is everything white here...

What is this place, it's so beautiful like.. heaven?...

I was roaming in that strange but beautiful place confusingly when I saw someone sitting on the white bench looking at the clear blue sky, I can't figure out who it was as that person's back was facing me. I walked towards that direction since I have to ask them where I am?...

"Excuse me... Can you please...."

My words got stuck in my throat and my eyes instantly filled with tears when that person turned towards me...

"Daadi.." (grandmother)

"I was waiting for you my child... Come here..."

She said and I quickly engulfed her in a tight hug, tears started flowing freely from my eyes. Is this real or just a dream but it feels so real, she broke our hug and gently wiped my tears...

I looked at her, she was looking like an angel, my angel. It felt like I am looking at my older reflection, the same blue eyes, the same mole I got all my features and beauty from my grandmother... And her bright smile, I was dying to see that...

"Daadi... I missed you so much, why did you left me alone..."

I was sobbing in her arms...

She gently rubbed my back...

"I am sorry Annu... Don't cry my child... I missed you too, you know daadi loves you right..."

I nodded at her...

"You are coming with me let's go home, I want you with me, I need you daadi..."

I said grabbing her hand but she grabbed mine and stopped me...

"I can't come with you Annu, it's not my world now..."

"Why and what world you are talking about, where are we?..."

I am so confused, I don't understand what is happening....

She said caressing my hair lovingly, I missed this motherly touch so much...
