There were only three classes today, and school ended at eleven o'clock. Ethan was an extrovert. He suggested going out to play just after lunch. Gary asked, “Ethan, where do you want to play? This place is strange to us!”
Ethan said, “We should go around and explore more since we are not familiar with the surroundings! First of all, let's stroll around the school to see if anything is interesting.”
When young people got together, they were certainly happy to hear about playing. Only Ben muttered, “If only I had a TV to watch, I want to watch the NBA games!”
“Ahh... Boring!” Derrick and Ethan began to say at the same time.
They went out of the south gate of the school, and the whole street opposite them had similar shops, with more than a dozen hotels connected in a row. Ben spat out his tongue and said, “Can so many restaurants make money together?”
James (everyone preferred calling Calvin James by his second name) said, “Ben, don't you know that all the students in H. University are rich? During festive seasons, or catch up with a rest day or something. These restaurants are all full. I think this street should be a prime location!”
James was right. Although not all the students in H University were rich, there were definitely many rich families, especially the children of provincial leaders and leaders in various cities, most of whom went to school here. Some people also laughed that H University had become a large adult nursery.
Anton and others turned to the north side of the school to find a very good disco, named New Youth Disco, which had a large area and could accommodate more than 1,000 people. Most of the customers who came here were students, with H. University being the most, and many other schools as well.
This disco was advantaged, located between H University and Medical University, and its customers were constantly flowing. It showed that the boss was very good at planning. Anton came in and looked around. Sure enough, five or six drinking gangsters were sitting in the corner of the disco. He knew that they were keeping an eye on the venue.
Anton was very interested in this disco. He needed a foothold in H City, which was undoubtedly the best place. He wanted to call Jason at night to transfer their secret group over, hoping to grab a place in H City first.
Seeing Anton's uncertain eyes, Ethan asked, “Little brother, have you found the girl you like? Ha ha!”
Knowing that he misunderstood, Anton shook his head and said, “No... I'm just looking around!”
“Don't explain. I understand! Are you still a virgin...”
Anton blushed and remembered that he and Camille had spent a night together before. He casually denied, “Of course I am not!” As men, they were all concerned about their reputation.
“Really? I don't think so!”
Anton was no longer concentrating on what Ethan was saying but found an empty place to sit down, thinking of ways to grab this place. He knew that although he dominates in J City, he couldn't do it in H City. First, there was no fame. Second, it was not better than J City. It was a provincial capital with complicated relations. Third, he had become an stranger here. It was not easy to find his stand here. Even strong groups like Tiger Gang also would not survive in J City!
Others didn't have as many worries as Anton. They asked for seven cokes. Derrick and Ethan went disco dancing, and others looked around for beautiful girls.
After a while, Ethan ran back and said to everyone, “Hey. Hey! I saw some female students from our class. There is a group of them there and even some beautiful girls whom I have never seen before!”
“Where?” James stood up and looked around. Although he tilted his feet, he still couldn't see anything.
Ethan said, “Do you think you are looking for a bird? Sit down and take a look at yourself, with that face of yours!” Because James's family was from the countryside, the habits shown in his daily life make Ethan look down on him from his heart. James turned red and didn't speak.
Ben understood the situation. He knew that James was afraid that he might be embarrassed. He stood up and took Ethan aside, with a smile and said, “Ethan, take the brothers to have a look! We are all classmates. We should be bonded together!”
Ethan pushed Ben in front and laughed, “OK, but you have to greet others first!”
“Fuck, you... (swearing, omitting)”
Ethan saw Anton still sitting and speechless. He pulled him, “What are you doing, little brother? Dreaming? Hurry up, let me introduce you to some beautiful women!” Anton didn't understand what was going on, but he was pulled away by Ethan who weighed 200 pounds.
When they came to the group of girls, Ben was pushed at the front and stuttered, “Hi! Classmates, you are also from No. 98 Law Class!”
When the girls heard the voices, their attention was focused on Ben's face, and some even had a red neck.
A girl with big eyes smiled and said, “Yes, how do you know?”
“So are we. I have seen you before. We are classmates!” Derrick didn't know when to join the conversation, so he pushed Ben away and said loudly.
The girl looked at Derrick and asked, “Is it? Why haven't I seen you before?”
When Anton and the girl chatted, there was a riot in the field. It turned out that Derrick was dancing with the girls, and a gangster leaned over to the girls when he saw that the girls were beautiful. At first, Ethan noticed it happening but ignored him, who knew that the gangster was getting bolder and bolder, and put his hand on the girl's chest.
Girls scream out while taking several steps back, while the gangsters laugh.
As mentioned earlier, Derrick did not have a good reputation in middle school. He had a hot temper and frequently joined fights. He saw that the girl whom he was dancing with was molested, and burst into anger. He didn't think much and punched the gangster in the face and shouted, “Fuck, if you want to touch a woman, why not go home and touch your mother!”
The gangster was punched by Derrick and flew away with his head tilted. When people next to them saw a fight, they all stepped back.
Derrick was very angry. He walked a few steps towards the gangster who wanted to get up, swinging his legs and kept kicking violently. The gangsters couldn't stand it and howled miserably. Anton's roommates saw Derrick fighting and hurried over. Ben stepped forward and hugged Derrick, “That's enough! Derrick, stop fighting! If you continue, something will happen!”
Derrick panted and looked at the gangsters huddled on the ground and said loudly, “Little prick! You’d better remember what happened today, don't let me see you again, or I will beat you!”
The gangster fell to the ground, his eyes shining maliciously, but he quickly took it back and begged for mercy and said, “Brother, I was wrong! I dare not do it again next time!”
Ben hurriedly said, “Come on, go quickly!” Then he turned to Derrick and asked, “What's the matter? Why did you fight?”
“That bastard. He bullied Laura!” Derrick said while pointing at the girl he danced with, the girl's eyes were filled with tears, nodding again and again.
Ben said, “You've beaten the guy up so let's just put this matter to rest. We are not local, we don't know anyone here, and we should fight less in the future. Otherwise, we might suffer!” Ben is twenty-one years old this year, much older than the rest. Therefore, he knew more than the younger ones.
Ethan nodded in agreement. The gangster walked out of the disco silently holding the wall. After coming out, his eyesight glowed with resentment and he walked to the nearest telephone hall.
After a while, the disco returned to normal. Several people in the disco who watched the venue stood up. Seeing that the fight was soon over, they smiled at each other and sat down again. Ethan didn't have any mood to dance after the fight. He took a seat and had a chat with everyone. Anton saw the gangster's eye contact when he left. He had seen so many similar situations before. He was very sure that the man had gone to find help and said to everyone, “Let's go. The gangster may find someone to block us later.”
Derrick was upset and said, “I'm not afraid of that bastard. What could he do even if he found help? I have so many of you. I am not afraid of him!”
“We are not afraid. If you are afraid, you can leave first, coward!” Said Bobbi in displeasure, the girl who took the initiative to talk to Anton just now. She thought that Anton was timid and was scared of facing the situation.
