Chapter Eighteen

Amira POV

“Ground rules for us being in the same house together. These are only the rules regarding Meda, however.” I begin, holding. Meda close and looking each man in the eye.

“At the end of the day, Meda is mine and only mine. If any of you try to undermine that, I will take away your privilege of spending time with her. Second, if I see you holding or treating her incorrectly, I’ll beat the s**t out of you. Thirdly, if you pester me when I’m having some mommy daughter time with Meda, I’ll cut your d**k off.” I finish, giving all three of them a pointed look.

“So are you going to stay by us if we’re with her?” Erebus questions, and I grit my teeth. They’re just using her to get closer to me.

“Argh! You guys can’t use my own baby sister to get time with me! If you spend time with her, it should be for her. Not for me. We can spend time together away from Meda.”

All the men perk up. “We can?” Erebus asks.

I smile. “Of course not. I just wanted to see if any of you cared about Meda for Meda, and not for me. So far I know the answer is no for, at least, Erebus- but I was already suspecting that one since he abused and bullied me for years on end.”

My comment makes Erebus’s face fall.
