It was just a few days ago when Taylor used Mikayla as a scapegoat. 

Before she could ask why Taylor was here, Betty came out and greeted her with a smile. 

“Mikayla, you’re here. Come and have a seat.” 

Mikayla walked over and sat next to Betty. 

Betty then explained, “Mr. Blue just arrived not long ago. Since you were coming anyway, I didn’t notify 

you. 

Taylor wouldn’t be here without a reason. 

Mikayla looked at him and asked, “Mr. Blue, what brings you here today?” 

Taylor casually crossed his legs and smiled. 

“Ms. Davidson, didn’t we make a bet? If you could restore Ansoft’s reputation, I would agree to invest. I’m 

here to fulfill my promise.” 

“Mikayla, Mr. Blue is investing in Ansoft following the terms and the amount of shares you told me about,” 

Betty added 

Mikayla didn’t expect Taylor to be so efficient 

Ansoft’s popularity soared overnight, and he was already proactively discussing investment into the 

company. 

Moreover, he didn’t try to take advantage of the situation to increase his share. 

“Mr. Blue, are you certain about this?” Mikayla reminded, “Although Ansoft is showing improvements now, no one knows what will happen in the future. 

“Oh, is that right?” Taylor casted a look at her. “Do you have no confidence in yourself or Ansoft?” 

“I’m confident in both myself and Ansoft!” Mikayla asserted. 

Taylor chuckled. 

“Since that’s the case, what else do I need to be worried about?” 

Considering the current situation at Ansoft, being able to secure investments from Taylor would undoubtedly be a positive thing. 

It was advantageous for both the company’s development and its place in the stock market. 

Mikayla asked Betty. “What do you think?” 

Agreeing to Taylor’s investment means that Ansoft would potentially lose out on better opportunities.

“I’ve always thought that working with Mocato Investments is a good idea. Since Mr. Blue is thinking the same thing, I certainly won’t refuse it.” 

Since Betty had agreed to it, Mikayla had no objections. 

It was already noon after they discussed the details of the contract and agreed on the date for the official signing. 

Taylor checked the time. 

“Let’s have lunch together. It’s on me.” 

Betty had other matters to attend to and couldn’t spare the time. 

“Mikayla, thank you for accompanying Mr. Blue to lunch. Mr.Blue, thank you for your support toward Ansoft.” Betty expressed her gratitude. 

As a temporary shareholder of Ansoft and someone who longed to work with Mocato Investments, Mikayla had no reason to refuse Taylor’s invitation 

She nodded. “Sure.” 

Immediately after Kylie woke up in the hospital, the doctor conducted a detailed check up on her brain. 

“It was a slight concussion. You need to be hospitalized for a few days.” 

“It’s fortunate that the chandelier missed. Otherwise, you would have sustained an even more serious 

injury. Although, the injury on your arm is quite serious, so make sure you get enough rest and minimize 

your movements.”
