“You’re setting a trap for now reason. Do you have a grudge against Jerome?” 

Mikayla countered, “Can’t I just hate him?” 

Taylor stared at Mikayla for a few seconds, then smirked. 

“Of course, you can. And it’s quite to my taste as well. I would’ve gladly help you even 

without the project as a pretext.” 

Mikayla stood up. 

“Thank you for your generosity, Mr. Blue. I’ll go back and work on the proposal now.” 

“Don’t be in such a hurry. I have one more request.” Taylor stopped her. 

Mikayla felt uneasy. 

“What request?” 

Taylor’s expression showed a hint of disdain. 

“What’s with that reaction? Do you really think I have a crush on you? After we’re done with this, you’ll perform a drum solo for me.” 

“Can I refuse?” 

“No, you can’t.” Taylor snorted. “Ms. Davidson, don’t take me for a fool. I’m helping you out. with two matters, and I’m only making this small request. Isn’t it reasonable?” 

Mikayla fell silent.
