Mikayla sprang up from her seat and said to Louisa, “I’ll talk about your issue later. I have to find Uncle 

Stephen.” 

She found him shortly after. He was engrossed in conversation with some of the Miller relatives with a 

triumphant expression on his face. 

Mikayla mumbled an apology before she dragged Stephen aside. 

“Mikayla, what are you doing? That’s highly inappropriate.” Stephen looked upset. 

Mikayla asked, “Did the Saunders family introduce you to a huge deal lately?” 

A wide grin broke on Stephen’s face. “Why? Have you heard of it as well?” 

*Mr. Saunders was so kind! He didn’t forget our hospitality toward his family, so he referred the deal to us. 

“Are you still discussing the deal, or have you signed the contract?” Mikayla asked hastily. 

“We’ve agreed on all the terms. We’ll sign the contract tomorrow.” 

Mikayla heaved a sigh of relief. “Uncle Stephen, don’t you find it strange that they agreed to the terms so quickly for such a huge deal?” 

Stephen scowled at her. “What are you implying? I don’t see anything strange with it. They seem sincere, and Mr. Saunders is my friend. Of course, things will progress quickly.” 

Maintaining her composure, Mikayla explained, “Uncle Stephen, I’m not trying to doubt you. I just recall seeing a similar situation on the news, and it didn’t turn out well for that company. Something big happened when the deal was closed, and it even caused the company to go bankrupt.” 

Stephen grew suspicious. “Really?” 

“I have shares in Minito. Of course, I wouldn’t want things to go wrong. Uncle Stephen, can you let the secretary send me a copy of the contract? I’ll get a professional to analyze it.” 

Mikayla continued in a persuasive tone, “Since you’ve already decided to sign the contract, it doesn’t hurt to let me have a peek, right? I can point out some issues if there are any. If you disagree with me, you can just ignore my advice.”
