"What happened? Did Mark do something?"
She shook her head and said "No he didn't, he wouldn't."
Of course, she trusts him more than me already.
But, then she wouldn't be in my arms right now.
I held her waist and pushed her head back in my chest and rubbed her back up and down.
"It's okay shhh. Iam here, Iam here." I whispered her soothing words knowing she will need that right now, more than me bombarding her with questions.
She calmed down a little and hugged me back. "Tha-Thank you."
"It's okay, Zella, So..?"
She pushed her self a little away from me, but was still in my arms.
I love her in my arms. Not the time.
She took a deep breath and pressed her chin to my chest, looking at me.
"Can we leave?" She mumbled and closed her eyes quickly.
"You wanna leave?"
She peeked her eyes open and when she found me calm and collected, she looked at me with her doe emerald eyes.
"Yes, but if it's okay with you. I mean, I would really like for you to come home with me too, so that Iam comfortable, but, If you don't want to then, no problem. I mean I'm sure the guests here need you more than stupid silly 'ole me, I'll just take a cab, so.....can I leave?"
"Firstly, no need to be nervous around me, if you want to stay something go ahead. It's your mouth not anybody else's to take charge of", besides me.
She nodded her head and smiled at me with tears down her cheek.
I wiped her tears and she leaned into my hand.
"Secondly you are more important then this stupid 'ole party" I said copying her words and she giggled.
I booped her nose, "There's the smile I love"....love? Psshhh!...shut up, now.
She blushed and hugged me.
I took her hand and we started walking. I was practically dragging her at this point, Why isn't she moving fast?
I looked back and saw her limping with tears rolling down her cheeks, my attempt to make her happy all in vain. I saw her limping behind me! What the fuck?
She held her sandals in one hand and the other hand was wiping the tears furiously.
When she looked up and saw me looking at her she immediately forced a smile and started walking normally, but still had a limp in her walk and her eye twitched in pain, which she was trying to ease by faking normality.
