Be Your Own Spring novel Chapter 91

He obviously obeyed.... I mean who can say no to me?

Denali is a beautiful place in Alaska and it's only 3 hours away from our residence. I searched it up and told Kezr.

We're going to stay here for the weekend in a cabin and are going to sightsee and much more.

It's quite a romantic place but Kezr being Kezr thought it was cheesy just like he thinks our matching outfits are cheesy.

Uggh!! Why isn't it connecting!!?

I cheered loudly after a thousands of tries later of me trying to connect car's bluetooth to mine.

Kezr said he should help me but I shushed him away and told him that I can do it. He actually thought I was serious and for the past hour he didn't even help me.

Well, I don't need him anyway, I did it just fine.

Even if I succeeded after a thousand tries.

"I did it na na na na!" I said poking my tongue out at him and teasing him.

He just rolled his eyes, but I could see a small smile on his face.

I went into my playlist and put one of corpse's song on.

I played it on the speaker and turned the volume up as we were on a deserted road.

It started and I saw Kezr flinch.

I giggled and lowered the volume a little.

It started and I sang along knowing the lyrics by heart.

Make a stack, Pepe laugh

Got all these babies mad

She suck me and I do not give her bans.

I feel like twitch staff, Clip that Ayy

This baby finna give me whip-

I got cut off from my singing when Kezr's booming laughter echoed the deserted land.

I lowered the volume, so that we could talk and I could ask the reason for his interruption.

He didn't stop laughing and just stopped the car on the side of the road.

He threw his head back and I couldn't deny and swoon over him being handsome as always.

"Zelli, love, do you even know what you're singing?" He asked me after his laughter died down.

I smiled at him and proudly said, "Yeah, Corpse Husband."

The big smile that was plastered on his face changed into a frown.

"What?" He asked tilting his head like a cute puppy asking for treats.
