Kai was about to leave the office.

“You handled all the paperwork when I married Kira.‘ 

‘Yes.‘ 

‘Does she have a brother?‘ Austyn asked with a straight face. 

Kira told him Gideon was the neighbour’s kid. 

But a man’s intuition told Austyn that there was more to the story.

Kai had not had time to do a more thorough check, including Kira’s childhood and extended family.
