Her ears were ringing from the vicious backhand. 

Sean took in her bloodied face and rumpled clothes. 

He scowled. ‘Greg? What did I tell you?? 

Greg bowed his head but defended himself. ‘Boss, the bitch came on to us. She tried to distract us and steal the phone. I was just going to teach her a lesson.”
