She scanned the cowl of prople coming and leaving, but saw no sign of Austyn

No calls or messages from him

“Where did you see him yesterday?” 

‘Here, at this hospital.‘ 

‘I meant, which floor? Which room?! 

“You want to wait for him there?” 

“Uh–huh. Whoever’s staying there might be important enough for him to visit again–hopefully, soon.‘ 

Kira called Austyn again on the way up.
