She missed the smell that was uniquely his 

She had gotten so used to falling asleep in his arms, she suffered from Insomnia after he disappeared.

Austyn stood in front of the fridge, turning his head to look at her. 

‘I’m fine with anything.” 

He removed a bottle of Evian and handed it to her, 

“Take a seat. I need to make some calls.” 

Kira perched on a sofa in the living room. 

Austyn strolled over to the balcony and pulled the sliding glass door shut behind him. 

Kira caught snippets of his conversation—something to do with a price war 

Recalling the business meeting she’d interrupted, Kira felt slightly guilty.

When her phone rang, she thought it was Rony. 

But it was a different caller ID. 

Kira shot to her feet and answered the call at the same time.
