Anya’s POV:
I struggled desperately.
Unfortunately, my resistance did not affect her. Instead, it brought more danger.
“Evan, don’t… please…”
His kisses were, fierce, hard, and aggressive.
My shirt was torn.
At that moment, fear overwhelmed me.
This imperious man had been never gentle to me.
When we were still married, he had already been so tyrannical.
The harder it was for me to bear, the ruder he was.
Seeing me in pain, he feels pleasure and satisfaction.
“Let go him…”
I struggled and bit him hard.
The smell of blood filled in my mouth.
However, instead of letting me go, he became even more fierce.
Suddenly, I felt a pain in my neck as he was holding me so tightly.
With tears streaming down from my face, I beat him feebly.
I hated this terrible man very much.
Till today, I still didn’t know why I had loved this man so much before.
I even loved this heartless man from the bottom of my heart.
My love for him has made me humble toward him whenever I face him.
But this man… he had never given me any love or tenderness… not even little much.
And now…
I hated this man as much as I loved him in the past.
Just then, a buzzing sound echoed in the conference room, interrupting him…
It was Evan’s phone.
Evan’s POV:
Just when I was about to succeed, I was interrupted by a cell phone ringing.
I ignored it, but the cell phone kept buzzing.
At first, I didn’t want to answer the phone…
But thinking that I told Grandma that I would take the kids to see her today.
Thinking that it might be Grandma who was calling, I was distracted for a moment.
Anya took the opportunity and bit me hard.
It was a nasty bite.
Beads of red blood rolled from my lisp.
I gasped and frowned. I touched my lips and saw the blood in my hand.
“That damned woman,” I thought, “How dare she bite me so hard!”
Taking advantage of my distraction, Anya struggled, broke free from me, and slid down from the conference table.
But it seemed like she didn’t have any strength in her body, as she was barely able to stand steadily. She had to hold the conference table stable herself.
“Evan, if you do this gain, I will call the police!”
“Do whatever you want.”
I ignored her and menace and picked up my cell phone to take a look.
