Kelly’s POV
We checked–in in a hotel. We don’t have a choice. Luke doesn’t want us to go back yet to the condo and neither I do. I won’t be able to sleep in that room tonight after what happened. I can still remember the drone with a small light. There was a camera in that drone and someone saw my naked body. It’s so scary and creepy. All I can think about is that drone and what Pierce has been. doing while I was trembling in fear.
I couldn’t accept it. While he’s fcking his woman, I was screaming in horror. Even now, I still feel very anxious. I feel like there are eyes everywhere,
watching me secretly.
“I called for food. You should still eat, Miss.”
I looked at Luke. “Did you call the security of the condo tower?”
“Yes, miss. I asked for a copy of the surveillance video around the tower. The unit is on the fourth floor so there’s a 50 percent chance that the culprit is
outside the building.”
“The other 50 percent?”
He clenched his jaws. “The possibility that he’s one of the residents and he’s executing his crime while he’s inside his unit. We will catch him if the drone. was caught in the surveillance video.”
I looked down and pinched my fingers took a deep breath and opened my eyes again. “Don’t tell anyone.”
“Miss…”
“Not even a single person, besides the police, would know this, Luke. Especially not him.”
“I understand, Miss.”
Luke kept his word. The next day, he sent me to the company and did not tell anyone. He left after sending me to the company to personally get the copy of the surveillance video and check the unit. He came back before lunch and stayed in front of my office, guarding me, I was distracted because he’s
drawing attention. In the end, I let him in my office while I’m working.
It was after lunch when Chris visited me. He froze when he saw Luke standing
beside me while we’re both watching the surveillance video on my laptop.
I even saw my assistant’s eyes widened when she saw me and Luke in that. position. I don’t care about what they’re thinking because there’s no malice. with my relationship with Luke. He’s my driver and ow my bodyguard too.
“Uh… C–Can I…come in?”
I nodded at Chris. Luke immediately gave us privacy. He left and stood in front of my office again. Chris on the other hand seemed bothered. He kept on glancing at Luke through the glass door as he sat on the chair in front of my
table.
“You have a photoshoot, right?” I asked to get his attention.
He immediately gave me a sweet smile. “The shoot for today is done. I just… came to ask how you are.”
“I’m fine, Chris.”

His eyes “You collapsed at the party, Kelly. I followed you to the hospital but Pierce Anderson stopped me. He…” he paused and laughed.
My forehead creased. “What?”
He grinned. “He said you’re married to him. I think he’s still angry with me. He’s still overprotective of you just like before.”
I swallowed hard. Damn you, Pierce!
