Chapter 114
Olivia took an afternoon nap. When she woke up to do a bit of reading, she received a phone call from Andrew.
“Olivia, sorry for calling now. Am I disturbing you?” This little guy was exceedingly polite.
Olivia pressed the phone to her ear and listened to the child’s soft
breathing. She felt her heart soften. She fiddled with the ballpoint pen between her fingers and spun it in a beautiful circle. She asked, “Andrew, why are you calling? Is something the matter?”
Upon hearing this, Andrew looked up and stared at Daniel.
Daniel raised his eyebrows and glanced at him.
Seeing that his father had no intention of leaving, Andrew walked to the other side of the room with the phone. He stood a little further away and said softly and shyly, “Olivia, I miss you.”
Before he could finish speaking, a scarlet blush spread over his cheeks. They resembled the gorgeous red petals of roses.
So he missed her, was it?
Hearing the child’s innocent and sincere words, Olivia felt an
indescribable sweetness. It was like she had candy in her mouth. The sweet taste spread to her heart.
She replied, “I miss you too. Can I treat you to something to eat tonight?” “Okay!” Andrew immediately agreed. He ran to his father’s side and tugged at his sleeve. He said excitedly, “Olivia invited me to dinner.” Daniel glanced at his son. With a light turn of his well–defined and slender fingers, he scooped the phone from Andrew’s chubby hand into
his own.
Then, he placed it by her ear and said calmly, “Olivia.”
Olivia felt goosebumps all over her as the low, dulcet tones of a man’s voice crept into her ear. His voice reminded her of a cello’s tunes.
She smiled and held the phone with her beautiful fingers. Her fingertips were extremely white under the bright light, almost transparent.
“Yes,” she whispered back.
Neither of them spoke, but the tension was palpable. It manifested itself. in the thick static thrumming through the phone.

After a while, Daniel said, “I know a private restaurant. It’s delicious. I’ll pick you up later”
He lowered his eyes and placed a slender arm on the armrest. His sleeves were slightly rolled up, revealing a thin but muscular wrist. The silver watch around it was low–key but appeared to be luxurious.
Alright. Olivia nodded. Her long and slender legs fell to the ground, and her lovely, hooded eyes were open in rapt attention.
The restaurant Daniel was talking about was in a quiet corner of the bustling city. It looked very ordinary and did not have many customers. When passing by, one would think that it was an unopened restaurant.
However, the truth was revealed when they entered the restaurant. After passing through a dark corridor, they entered the main hall, where loaded dishes sat atop tables.
Soon, a waiter came over and took Daniel’s coat and Olivia’s bag.
Olivia looked around and thought this place was quite interesting. It was perfectly hidden in a corner of the city. No one would notice it unless they were looking out for it.
“Why don’t I see the restaurant’s name anywhere?” Olivia asked. Daniel helped Olivia into her chair. When he heard this, he said indifferently. The Smith Cuisine Hall.
The Smith Cuisine Hall?” Olivia leaned back in her chair, her narrowed in deep thought. “What an interesting name.”

Seeing that Olivia was interested, Daniel added, “This restaurant is famous for its medicinal cuisine. It’s not an ordinary restaurant and doesn’t receive many customers.”
Medicinal cuisine. Olivia nodded and soon turned her attention to other things.
Andrew liked this place very much. He sat beside Olivia and whispered endlessly to her. He told her that he loved the pig trotter soup here very much. It was delicious.
The dishes here were indeed fantastic, especially the cold cucumber
soup.
It tasted fresh and sweet. More uniquely, it was devoid of the usual bitter medicinal taste.
Just as they were leaving after dinner, the waiter suddenly came over. “Please wait for a moment. The head chef will be here in a while.”
The head chef?
Billionaire’s Misung Darling
Olivia was a little surprised. Usually, guests requested a meeting with the head chef if the food was good so they could thank him. No head chef had ever taken the initiative to meet the guests.
Just as she was wondering, a gentle–looking and beautiful woman walked over. The woman was very young, only in her twenties. She wore a white chef’s hat, tightly binding her hair. Not a single strand of hair fell outside.
However, her tight outfit did not affect her appearance at all. Instead, she stood out from the crowd in a good way.
The woman did not seem to notice Olivia. Her gaze was fixed on Daniel as if he was the only person in the room.
“Daniel,” the woman greeted with a gentle smile. A gleam appeared in her eyes, and she said coquettishly, “Why didn’t you say anything when you decided to drop by today?”
Andrew knew this woman. As soon as she approached, he called, “Aunt Cynthia!”
“My dear Andrew.” The woman’s eyes curved into crescents. “Did you miss your Aunt Cynthia?”
Andrew was an honest child. He shook his head when he heard that. “I’m sorry, Aunt Cynthia. I didn’t miss you.”
The woman was amused. She pointed at him and said, “Andrew, can’t you say something nice to coax me for once?”
Andrew tilted his head in embarrassment and walked to Daniel’s side. “Daddy, I want to go to the washroom.”
Daniel swiveled the chair around and bent his long legs. His gaze was indifferent. “Go and find the waiter to help you.”
“No.” Andrew was shy and grabbed his sleeve tightly.
Daniel did not have much patience. Just as he was about to lift Andrew and throw him to the waiter, he met Olivia’s. gaze.
Daniel froze. He thought about how he had treated Andrew. When Olivia regained her memory in the future, she would be taking revenge for the
poor guy.
