"What?" Xi Mei felt like she heard him wrong. Without looking at her, Mo Xung looked at his father instead.

" Father, Don't you think we should help her. She is Nanny Sui's granddaughter after all and You know how much Nanny Sui mean to us. Living alone by herself is very risky, so why don't we let her stay with us until Nanny Sui returns back."

" Xiao Mei, What do you think of the idea? I won't ever force you. But it will be safer for you if you stay with us here. If you are worried about Nanny Sui, then-"

Xi Mei hurriedly cut him off as she shook her head " No, I am not hesitating because of Grandma. To be real honest, She also told me the same thing and was about to ask you if i could stay here until she returns but i was the one who refused."

"Why?" Mo Xung gazed at Xi Mei , completely puzzled.

Xi Mei lowered her head, fidgeting her little fingers " Actually, I thought it will be just a burden for you if I begin to stay here. Added to the fact that I wanted to try how it feels to stay home alone by myself. So, Rather than giving problems to others, I decided to stay alone independently."

After saying that he got up and went to the kitchen. Xi Mei pursed her lips as her gaze followed his back till it disappeared deep inside the kitchen.

"Mind if you take me to the living room too?" Mo Xung asked.

"Huh?..Yeah." Xi Mei stood up and helped Mo Xung sit in the wheelchair before going towards the living room.
