Blind date turned proposal (Josie and Dexter) novel Chapter 1101

Dexter remained motionless, softly echoing Arnold's words, "One night, one hour."

Arnold stood behind him.

A faint smile appeared on his face as he suddenly asked, "Arnold, do you know why you lost to me in the first place?"

Arnold narrowed his eyes. It was evident from the current situation that he had already won.

"You are too superficial."

After Dexter finished speaking, he stood up and walked out without hesitation.

"What do you mean?" Arnold couldn't help but ask.

"Nothing." Dexter stood still, tilting his head slightly. "It's time for me to leave."

Arnold's expression changed. He furrowed his brows, sensing that something was wrong. "Impossible... Did you—"

Just then, his phone, which was on the table, began to vibrate vigorously. He glanced at the caller ID, his expression growing even grimmer.

"Speak!"

After a while, Arnold stared intently at Dexter's figure, his resentment intensifying.

Dexter became even more relaxed. "I forgot to mention that before Justin entered La Oriele, we implanted a tracking chip in him. No matter where he goes, I can always find him."

Arnold felt a chill run through his body.

"I know you too well, Arnold. You might think that I would analyze your thought process, guessing that you wouldn't put Paul and Justin together. But sometimes, reverse thinking is necessary. How long do you think it took me to devise this plan?" Dexter asked in return.

Arnold's eyes turned cold.

"One minute." Dexter turned around. "Of course, we must also include the time spent acting with you here today."
