Dexter's investigation had ended, and Mandarin Oriental Hotel was back in business. Those who had avoided him before now flocked to him, making the atmosphere lively once again.

Josie wore a light green dress under her coat as she walked alongside Morgan into the hotel. Ryan hurried over.

“Yesterday, Dexter went to the jewelry building with that woman and had a gold lock, a pair of gold bracelets, and a gold ring made.”

Morgan glanced at Josie. “Who's that woman?”

“Her identity is still unknown for now.”

Josie's lips curled. “Tacky.”
