“Jealous of you?” Summer scoffed, looking at the woman before her. “You think by shedding your old skin and assuming a new identity, I wouldn't know about your past? You're feeling quite superior now, aren't you? You may fool everyone else, but not me. You will never be Josie.”

Heather's fingers clenched tightly. She had been hit where it hurt, causing her entire body to tremble.

Summer admired her audacity. “Tell me. What would happen if I were to reveal to everyone right now that you're an imposter, that you're not Liana at all?”

As she spoke, she couldn't help but visualize the scene in her mind, and it made her burst into laughter.
