Everyone in the industry sald that Brittany would do even the most heavy–handed things to clear her client’s name. 

However, Brittany knew Caroline as the woman who would obediently slick to Eddy like glue. She didn’t expect her to become a completely different person in less than half a year. She liked the current Caroline very much.

She asked, “So, what do I have to do?”

Caroline explained, “When I went to see my real estate manager the other day, I was attacked by a mysterious man. The police are Investigating it, so the man should be caught soon.”

She spoke lightheartedly, as if what she talked about didn’t concern her. “You can start posting the evidence after the police arrest the

attacker.”

“What if the police don’t?” Brittany questioned.

Caroline said calmly, “If the police still haven’t caught anyone in three days, start going through with the plan.”

Brittany smiled sincerely. “It seems you had already figured out what to do before I came, Ms. Evans.”

Before coming here, Brittany had been worried that Caroline was an amateur and would use her special status to tell her what to do.

Hearing the urgency in Caroline’s tone, Kirk frowned slightly and glanced at Charles. “All right. I’m at the office right now. Meet me at the café on Starshire Street.”
