A shiver ran down Kirk’s back as he took out his phone with a smile. “Of course not. You can look 

through my phone if you want.” 

Caroline observed Kirk’s demeanor. After ensuring he wasn’t lying, she reached out for his phone 

When she looked down, she didn’t notice that Kirk’s hands were trembling. 

Caroline was about to ask Kirk for his password when she noticed that Kirk had used a photo of 

her as his wallpaper. 

She was surprised. She didn’t remember taking this photo. 

“When did you take this photo?” She asked, showing the photo to Kirk. 

Kirk smiled. “The first time when we-” 

“Stop,” Caroline interrupted, glaring at him. She was afraid of what he was going to say. There 

were other people in this car. 

Kirk smiled slightly at her response. 

Caroline shoved the phone at Kirk, blushing. “Forget it. I changed my mind.” 

Kirk took his phone back. “Are you sure?” 

Knowing how calm and composed Kirk was, Caroline guessed he had more photos of her on his phone. She didn’t want him to explain when he had taken each and every one of them. 

“Yes.” 

“I’ll keep my phone then.” 

Caroline nodded and turned to look out the window, her cheeks slowly turning red. 

She wasn’t a heartless person. She could tell that Kirk loved her, and she knew how passionate Kirk was about her. However, she couldn’t just forgive him for hiding things from her for so long. 

Forget it. She would handle this after she questioned Dolly. As she pondered, her gaze unknowingly landed on Kirk’s reflection in the car window. 

Kirk’s cheeks were thinner, and his jawline and nose were also sharper, probably due to the 

weight loss. He looked handsome. No wonder Helena wanted to rope him into the entertainment
