Daphne?” 

“Let her go back for now. Keep an eye on her, and don’t let Uncle Jude get suspicious.” 

Kirk stared at the ground. He continued, “Also, have you discovered anything about the car 

accident when I came to Easton?” 

Charles shook his head. “Sir, it seems that the enemy isn’t to be trifled with. I think the big four families are the likely suspects.” 

“Including the Morrisons?” 

Charles froze momentarily, then considered it and said, “It’s hard to tell for now. After all, Mr.
