Broken Memories, Intertwined Hearts novel Chapter 416

Ines was stunned by Silvia's words, and her heart surged with emotions for a moment. Silvia was actually the direct cause of her own sister's death. She was just a teenager at that time, and Ines couldn't comprehend how she could have laid hands on her own sister, who she was so dependent on. Compared to that, what Silvia was doing to her now seemed trivial.

"Leila, I know you hate me. That's why you didn't even look at me before you died, let alone tell Ethan to take good care of me. You didn't say anything, not a word. I'm so sorry." Her voice suddenly stopped.

Ines heard Silvia crying next door. Just when she thought Silvia would stop, she heard her say, "But the man who loved you is now in love with another woman. I think he's even better to her than he was to you. Are you okay with that? I guess you wouldn't be. Why should Ines come along and take our man? Ethan is ours."

Ines thought Silvia's mental issues were really serious. She could say such things. Their man. When did Ethan become theirs?

"Leila, I know my current behavior is somewhat too much. I've thought about letting go, but I have no way out now. For Ethan, I sacrificed you, the one who loved me the most. Even if I let go now, you can't come back. I have paid such a heavy price, I'm not willing to end up with nothing. Leila, I really can't stand it, so I will continue anyway, trying every means to win Ethan over."

Ines pursed her lips, leaning against the wall, not daring to make a sound, for fear of disturbing Silvia.

"Funny isn't it? A couple of days ago I told Ethan that I knew about you and Ines. Ethan, who used to be cold to me, rushed over. Actually, how could you have any relationship with that woman? I just lied to him, but who would have thought that woman is so important in Ethan's heart now, he wouldn't miss anything about her.

"Then I sent a text to that woman, saying a bunch of stuff to ruin their marriage, and surprisingly it worked. I heard they had a fight, and that woman has gone back to the Galeana family. Tonight is really a night to be happy. Leila, I'm so happy."

Silvia was crying and laughing, like a person who had completely lost her mind.

Even though Ines knew that Silvia was deliberately trying to ruin their relationship, it still felt heavy to hear her say it. It seemed that she had some misunderstandings about Ethan, but why was Ethan so sure that there was a connection between her and Leila?

Ines couldn't listen to what Silvia was saying anymore, her mind was a mess, not knowing what to think. It wasn't until she heard the flushing sound from the toilet next door and Silvia's leaving footsteps that Ines came out of the bathroom and washed her hands. She looked at her pale face in the mirror, gently patted her own face, and forced a smile on the corner of her mouth.

Watson, who had been waiting outside the door, was getting impatient, his eyes full of anxiety. Seeing her come out, he breathed a sigh of relief, "Ms. Ines, you scared me. You stayed in there for 20 minutes. I thought something had happened. If you didn't come out, I was going to rush in."

Ines shook her head lightly, "I'm fine, let's go."

When Ines returned to her seat, Silvia was gone. Phoebe and Emma were chatting with a man, all with smiles on their faces. The man saw her and smiled, "Did you come together? Another beauty has arrived."
