As soon as Aaron stepped off the plane, he headed straight for Cynthia Lynwood's residence—a charming three-story house.

"Aaron, you're finally here!" Cynthia exclaimed, her voice filled with delight as she rushed toward him like a bird eager to fly.

Aaron held her back gently with one hand on her shoulder. "You said you saw Evelyn. Is it true?"
