Chapter 99
Yet, Niamh had the nerve to demand a portion of the assets she and Castiel accumulated together in the last three years.
Noticing Renee’s obvious disdain for Niamh, Tilda glanced at Sienna before continuing, “The car she drove back in was no slouch. It was a Bugatti Veyron, if not mistaken. It was very flashy!”
“A Bugatti Veyron?” Sienna chimed in, sounding somewhat surprised.
Renee, familiar with the luxury brand, looked at Tilda skeptically. “She showed up in a Bugatti Veyron?”
“Yes. It looked brand new, so she must’ve just bought it!”
Renee’s expression darkened. Castiel had gifted Niamh a BMW, befitting her status as the lady of the Jamison family. Yet, she was now driving a Bugatti Veyron?
Sienna had dreamed of owning one for ages, but Renee had refused to buy her one. Even though she had always been fond of her adopted, daughter, the price of such a car was exorbitant.
Sienna’s expression changed dramatically as well. She had always. wanted a Bugatti Veyron but had never been able to get one. Hence, she was filled with anger and resentment when she learned that Niamh had arrived at Jamison Manor in a brand–new Bugatti Veyron.
“That woman’s really pushing it now!” Renee fumed. She was beside herself with anger.
“Castiel sure is good to Niamh. Will they really go through with the divorce?” Sienna asked softly.
“Even if they don’t want to, they’ll have to!” Renee snapped. After everything that had happened, she simply couldn’t tolerate Niamh
anymore.
Charter 99
After suffering a setback the day before, Castiel spent the entire day. in meetings. They had hit a dead end with Linden Grove.
Now, they were eyeing the plot of land next to Linden Grove. Althought they hadn’t given it much thought before, the surrounding amenities. and Blake’s development made it look like a viable option.
Since the plans for the coming year had been disrupted and the real estate company needed to maintain its annual operations, they had no choice but to settle for a second–best option.
Castiel was in the middle of strategizing how to secure that land when his mother’s calls started pouring in. He couldn’t ignore her because his phone wouldn’t stop ringing. In the end, he answered.” What is it?”
“Did you get her a new car?” Renee demanded over the phone. Castiel had no idea what she was on about. He found it frustrating that she was calling to ask about such a trivial matter.
“So what if I got her a new car? Are you going to micromanage
everything I do? If that’s the case, you can run the company, and I’ll step down!”
