The rain fell hard against the window as it rattled from the wind, this is not good! Not what I wanted for my first day back at college, especially since I have to walk to the train station. Stupid English weather. Glancing into the floor length mirror I try to fight my hair into submission, the natural curls making it near impossible as I cover it in hair spray, there that should do, Lizzie 1, hair 0. I wouldn’t say I was pretty, but when my hair cooperated it looked great with my figure, I don’t have a size zero model figure, I have curves, being between a size 10 and 12 with great breasts if I may say so myself, the black skinny jeans I was wearing clung perfectly to my body along with the grey tank top, I looked attractive for once, after finishing the outfit with a skull scarf, a leather jacket and my black Doc Martens I grabbed my bag and ran for the door, checking the time quickly. It’s just my luck to be running late on the first day back, and we had a new teacher who is meant to be one of the best, I really should not be late to his lesson, sighing to myself I run through puddles, soaking the bottom of my jeans.
Crap! I missed the train, now I’m going to be late for sure, after waiting for the next train to arrive I waited patiently for it to reach my destination, hoping I would dry off a little before meeting my new teacher, first impressions count right? Laughing to myself once again, I check my eyeliner, ensuring it was still perfect before standing at the door of the train, why did they have to take so long to open them! As soon as the doors opened, I ran out of the station, I had at least 30 minutes’ walk before I reached my college and I still needed to collect my timetable.
Reaching college over half an hour late I quickly pace into the office, ringing the bell ‘Hey there, second year, Lizzie Sevenfold’ My words come out rushed as the women frowns at me
‘a little late aren’t we?’ it’s clear she was unimpressed as she frowns once again
‘oh yeah, trains just love being late’ I smile sheepishly, hoping we could carry this along already.
The women takes her time in finding my file ‘ah here we are, Miss sevenfold, you’re in room 809, here you go’ She hands me the timetable as my heart sinks, 809? That’s the 8th floor. I quickly leave the office after muttering a thank you, only to find both the lifts out of order, double crap. Looks like the stairs it is. These stairs kill me, I would never ever willingly walk up them, bad choice to wear skinny jeans Lizzie, really bad choice. Finally reaching the 8th floor I try to control my breathing as I knock on room 809, as I reach for the handle it is ripped from hand as the door opens wide, the entrance to the room blocked by an unknown figure in front of me. My eyes travel up the man, lingering on the black shirt that was tight enough to see outlines of abs beneath, the top buttons were undone which showed the tan skin beneath. My breathing caught in my throat, I had only just laid eyes on this man, yet certain parts of me had come to life, I let my eyes travel further up only to be met with piercing cold brown eyes.
‘Miss sevenfold I presume!’ His voice is deep with a clear sense of anger present as he continues to sternly watch me ‘I do not appreciate late arrivals to my class. You should learn to follow the rules correctly. I have very strict rules in tact Miss sevenfold and if you do not plan to abide by them then measures shall be taken’ I gulp loudly as he continues to watch me, flashes of anger appearing in his eyes ‘I am known as Lucas in this college, but seems as you show no respect, you will call me Mr Davey, do you understand?’ I nod my head, not trusting my voice.
‘You answer me when I speak to you, do you understand?’ the sternness is present in his voice again
