Silently packing things away has always been a great difficulty, I mean how the hell am I meant to slip out of this room unnoticed by Mr you will not use my first name? I mean seriously, I was late, what gave him the right to give me detention straight away? it was hardly my fault that I missed the train.
As I finished my train of thought I looked up expecting a room full of students, but no, no such luck for me, I had spent so much time thinking about Mr Davey that when I looked up, he was right there, smirking at me! oh how I'd love to wipe that bloody smirk of his stupid attractive face.
"You know, with the disappointment written on your voice, someone might assume you were hoping that you would escape before I noticed" He frowned at me once again, the dominance lacing his every word before he smirked once again.
"Me? Escape, now why would I possibly want to be away from you, Sir" I wanted to high five myself as the smirk returned to a frown, god sarcasm Is brilliant.
"That is no way to speak to your new teacher! you treat me with more respect, I am not a friend nor am I some silly school child, I suggest you learn how to treat someone who is clearly higher then yourself before someone teaches you the lesson themselves Lizzie" I couldn't help but look away, there was something playing behind his eyes, a sense of danger. He was mocking me, that much is clear, but I know what he wants, he wants me to retaliate, wants me to fight back, that way he would have a reason to give me more detentions, to punish me. The last thought sent heat across my cheeks as I felt the blush appear. It didn't help that I could see Mr Davey watching my every move, and the way his eyes darkened, I know he noticed my change of colour too.
"What's the matter, lizzie? have I embarrassed the know it all?" he smirked once again.
"no, not at all sir, I was just remembering last night" Once again sarcasm laced every one of my words, and I felt triumphant smile as he took a step closer to me, his knuckles straining white.
"I have no desire to know about your silly childish games, now you will sit down, and you will do as you are told" By the time he was finished he was only a few steps from me, I don't know if it was the threat which was clearly hidden within his words, of if it was the power radiating of him, but for once, I did as I was told and I sat, remaining deadly silent as I gulped, why wouldn't he stop staring. Come on lizzie you can do this, just keep your mouth shut for the next five minutes and you might actually make it out of this alive.
Mr Davey smirked once again as he crossed his arms over his chest, causing the muscles beneath the flex. Jesus, why did Mr Grumpy arse have to be so attractive?
