Capturing the Millionaire’s Heart on Divorce Day novel Chapter 135

Chapter 0135

Jessica bolted upright, her eyes wide as she scoured for her brother’s

F******k account.

Minutes later, confirmation came: amidst the late-night quiet, these two had decided to bare their souls, publicizing their relationship and sending the night-owl netizens into a frenzy of likes.

Within just an hour or two, the internet sleuths had pieced together the couple’s resumes, and photo collages of the pair began. circulating, birthing an armada of shippers.

Meanwhile, Shi Hua, having returned to her residence, stumbled upon the hot topic on F******* regarding today’s events. Amelia’s sardonic words echoed in her ears as she furiously tapped her screen.

Shi Hua was convinced that Ethan, who typically shunned the public eye, must have been coerced into this display by Madison. The image of Madison she had seen today only solidified her belief.

Ethan had been without female companionship for years, basking in the prime of life, naturally seeking the company of women to fend off loneliness.

Shi Hua thought she could tolerate this since a man of Ethan’s stature would certainly choose a partner of equal standing. In terms of ability, Shi Hua didn’t consider Madison a threat in the slightest.

At Mukino International Airport.

The luxury car pulled up unapologetically at the entrance, with Madison stepping out first, her uniform clearly marking her identity.

“Isn’t that Captain Madison?”

“Yes, it is!”

“She’s gorgeous, no wonder the Chairman of Mukino International likes her.”

“Women in captain uniforms are seriously cool!”

Exclamations and envious murmurs filled the air.

Madison, however, was oblivious, as Ethan, still in the car, was

gripping her arm, preventing her from leaving.

“Just going like that? Don’t you feel like you’re missing something?”

Madison checked for any forgotten items. ID, work badge, various certificates all present.

Ethan’s face fell, prompting her, “Aren’t you forgetting to kiss me?”

William, in the passenger seat, quickly turned his head away,

desperately trying to become ‘deaf.’

Madison’s cheeks bloomed with a blush as she leaned into the back

seat, planting a kiss on Ethan’s lips.

Satisfied, Ethan released her, “Don’t forget, call me first thing if anything happens.”

“Got it.”

“Make sure to wear your uniform properly, and don’t get too close to other captains.”

“If someone’s cheeky, hit back or tell me.”

Madison nodded and waved goodbye as she entered the airport’s rear building. Once she was inside, William closed the window, “President Grant, did you notice…”

Ethan’s gaze returned to the building as the driver steered towards

Mukino International’s headquarters

“Notice what?”

William coughed into his fist, “You’re somewhat… maternal lately.”

Ethan glared at the back of William’s head for several seconds, “Do I

nag?”

“Absolutely not!” William declared his loyalty, “It’s an honor to receive your care. But…”

Ethan quickly became anxious, “Does Madison think I’m naggy?”

“That…”

William considered for a moment, “Young people might not appreciate someone who fusses too much?”

When that icy glare fell upon him again, William wisely shut his mouth.

Inside the airport building.

Frank from the flight department was early at the elevator, ready to welcome both goddesses personally.

But as the doors slid open, his prepared greeting froze. Standing there were Madison and Shi Hua, in matching uniforms, one looking supremely confident, the other utterly serene.

Frank took a deep breath, “Good morning, Captains, please, this way.”

Madison and Shi Hua had run into each other at the elevator, seemingly forgotten yesterday’s events, greeting each other politely.

As they followed Frank to the office, Shi Hua slowed her pace,” Madison, I haven’t been in the country for a while. Is it common here for women to make their boyfriends disclose their relationships?

Does it stem from insecurity?”

Her inquiry seemed genuine.

But Shi Hua had overlooked one thing: Madison was no ingénue; her character was just deeply concealed. In the face of danger, her claws were sharper than anyone’s, always ready to strike.

“That’s a question for President Grant. No need to beat around the bush-just ask directly if you’re curious. As for going public, I don’t mind it at all. In fact, it was Ethan who suggested it. You might be right; maybe he’s the one lacking security.”

Madison smiled, “Thank you for the reminder, Captain Shi. Rest assured, I’ll make sure to give Ethan all the security he needs.”

With that, she pushed open the door to Frank’s office and stepped

inside.

Shi Hua, grinding her teeth, took a deep breath and followed, her face set in determination.

Frank was caught between two forces, not daring to offend either.
