Katherine stared at the text message, and it occurred to her that Marshall and Hector might meet each other.
She quarreled with Marshall today. She said that she wanted to announce the divorce, and got Hector involved.
Marshall might take the anger out on Hector when he didn’t succeed with Katherine.
Katherine quickly got off the bed and ran downstairs in her pajamas.
Marshall’s car was not there when she looked from the stairs.
She was somewhat relieved.
She thought that maybe they didn't meet, and Marshall left directly.
Katherine walked out of the yard and to the door. She saw Marshall's car parked not far away.
Marshall didn't get off. He was probably in the car. Hector was standing at the front of Marshall’s car.
Katherine closed her eyes, speaking of the devils.
Hector turned and saw Katherine. He avoided Marshall’s car and walked towards her, "Why did you come out in your pajamas?"
Katherine said, "Why are you here?"
Hector said, "Just passing by, and coming over to see if you are at home or not, Kyle talked about you all day, but you didn't show up."
Marshall got off his car.
He stood by the car and looked at Katherine and Hector.
The smile on his face was ironic.
Katherine didn't know why she felt guilty.
But in fact, what she said to Marshall burst from her in an angry rush.
She and Hector were innocent, she was all talk and no action.
Katherine didn't dare to look at Marshall, so she looked at Hector, "Well, I'm not comfortable, and I have to rest. If you have nothing, you can go back."
Marshall took out his cigarette case, picked one and lit it.
He held the cigarette in his mouth and didn’t smoke. He leaned on the car, with his eyes fixating on Katherine.
Katherine actually had said that she really love him.during their making love while Marshall doubted it for not knowing whether she said that just because of .she was drowsing in pleasure of love making at the moment.
Maybe she could say anything when she’s coming, which had nothing to do with true love. He thought.
Hector looked back at Marshall, then he touched Katherine's forehead, "How come?"
Katherine was stunned, and then stepped back. She tucked her hair, "I'm a little tired."
Hector moved closer and saw Katherine's chin, "Have you blundered into something?"
Katherine touched her chin.
It was pinched by Marshall just now, and it was still aching.
Katherine said quickly, "It was an accident. If you have nothing else, I will go back in."
Hector could see Katherine's obvious avoidance.
He didn't get to the bottom of it, "Okay, you should rest early if you feel uncomfortable. I was passing by anyway, and I planned to go home."
Katherine nodded, "Well, you should go home early."
She said, "I will watch you go."
The main reason was that she was afraid that if she was not here, Marshall and Hector would lock horns.
Hector waved his hand, and left.
Neither he nor Marshall looked at each other, they ignored each other.
Katherine watched Hector go, and she felt a bit more at ease.
She didn't want to talk to Marshall, so she turned to enter the house.
Marshall said first, "Katherine, in fact, you and Hector are really good matches."
Katherine froze, she slowly turned to look at Marshall.
Marshall smirked.
Katherine curled her lips, "I was born of humble origins, so was Hector, so the two of us are the best match. What else do you want to comment on? You can say it now."
