Chapter 209
The codes on the screen flashed like a string of notes.
The audience looked at them and felt dazzled.
The concise codes from Finley attracted public attention.
A principal from the other university couldn’t help but pat Xavier next to him on the shoulder. “Is that girl in your class?”
Xavier smiled and nodded. “Yes, she is my student.”
“She is talented. She, as a girl, types fast. She still looks tough with an injured hand. You taught her well.”
This praise pleased Xavier.
He felt lucky that he didn’t tell this principal that Finley was the worst student in his class.
Two and a half minutes passed.
Whoever got stuck still pondered for a solution.
Andy was fast, but his solution was ordinary and needed more time.
Finley almost finished her programming.
The audience were in astonishment.
“Does Finley finish the test?”
“She types fast. She must have been single for twenty years.”
“Andy, hurry up. How can you lose to that ugly b*tch?” Debbie clenched her hands and kept praying in a low voice.
Out of the corner of his eye, Andy glanced at Finley, who sat beside him.
He sweated profusely at the sight of Finley’s codes.
Andy had suspected that Finley was capable but pretended to be a poor student.
He didn’t expect Finley to be so capable.
The domineering aura from Finley brought pressure on people around her.
She would look down on me I lose to her.
With this thought, Andy bit his thin lips and typed faster.
There was ten seconds to go before three minutes.
Finley stopped tapping the keyboard.
All the codes appeared on the computer screen, and all Finley had to do now was to press the enter key
Some people began to approve of Finley.
Finley couldn’t hear the praises. She saw the smiles on the faces of both the principal and Xavier. Finley knew that she won.
I won the first round and also the applause of others.
It took Andy 3 minutes and 15 seconds to finish his test.
When his hands left the keyboard, they trembled violently. Large beads of sweat dripped down fr his forehead.
I lost.
Andy felt ashamed to be defeated by his dream girl.
Finley raised her head and looked at the entrance of the lobby.
A black figure stood against the light from outside.
It seemed noble and dazzling.
A faint smile appeared on Finley’s face.
It was Bryan.
He was here.
