Chapter 81
“I gave her 5 million to cure me. I am afraid that she will flee. Call her. Use the speaker,” Bryan ordered Kate in a cold voice, and the smoke from his cigarette blurred the sight of Kate.
Kate saw through this little trick. She dialed Finley’s number with a faint smile on her face.
Finley had a problem with sleep from little.
She woke up from any little noise and had nightmares.
Finley slept in the same bed with Allison.
Allison put one leg on the waist of Finley, looking a little cute.
Finley heard the ringtone and instantly took the phone from the nightstand. She didn’t want to wake Allison up. Finley moved Allison’s leg away, tiptoed out of the bedroom, and answered the phone
outside the door.
“Kate, it’s late. What is up?”
“Mrs. Turner, it’s so late. Why haven’t you come back yet?” Kate said cautiously, glancing at Bryan with her mobile phone in her hand.
“I’ll live with my friend for one night and go back to school with her tomorrow.”
“Is your friend a man or a woman?” Kate immediately asked.
She asked so for the sake of Bryan.
“Woman! How could I sleep with a male classmate? Did Bryan tell you to call me?” Finley realized something, clenched her mobile phone, and asked with a smile.
“Well…” Kate denied it because of the warning gaze from Bryan. “Of course not. Mr. Turner went to bed early. I’m just doing my job.”
“Oh, okay. I’ll go back tomorrow night. If Bryan is still angry with me, I don’t dare to go. home.”
Hearing this, Bryan pressed the cigarette in his hand hard on the ashtray.
She didn’t dare to go home! Wasn’t she very bold?
