Rosalie's heart trembled. She rushed forward and covered Theodore's mouth with her hand, her eyes filled with intense panic. "Don't say such things."
He had a son now, but he was speaking of an end to his lineage. She also didn't want Theodore to die a terrible death.
Theodore grabbed her wrist and suddenly pulled her into his arms, lowering his head to kiss her lips.
Rosalie's eyes widened, and her mind felt like it exploded in that instant. In a panic, she stretched out both hands to push him away, trying to resist—but he wouldn't budge.
Rosalie dared not struggle or shout too hard, fearing that Justin might hear. Justin would certainly come out to stop them. He was injured and running a fever; his body couldn't handle such an ordeal. He definitely wouldn't be a match for Theodore.
Rosalie had no choice but to helplessly close her eyes, allowing him to kiss her.
After a long while, Theodore finally let her go. He cupped the back of her head with one hand and held her waist with the other, his breath hot against her skin.
Rosalie struggled fiercely to break free from his embrace. She raised her hand and slapped him hard across the face, gritting her teeth as she spat, "You're shameless."
Theodore's eyes turned red, and he said in a strained voice, "You wanted to know whether I harmed him, didn't you? I told you I didn't, but you didn't believe me. The only thing I can do is swear and say these harsh words, but you won't let me. Rose, what is it that you want?"
He was about to go mad because of this woman.
"I want you to stop looking at me like that. I want you to stop holding onto any hope that we can reconcile. We're divorced, Theo. I don't love you like I used to. We are done. I hope you understand that," Rosalie retorted.
The feeling of despair spread from his head to his toe. He nearly fainted at that instant.
Rosalie turned away to wipe away the tears on her face. "I don't want to argue with you here. Steve is still sleeping, and Justin is running a high fever. I'm begging you."
Theodore suddenly started laughing. He stumbled toward the couch and sat down.
The two of them fell into silence.
It wasn't until two doctors arrived that things began to stir. They were both in plain clothes, carrying a large case with medical supplies and important medications inside.
They entered the room, and Justin was already delirious from the fever. The doctors treated his wounds and administered an injection. Before leaving, they left some medication and gave Rosalie instructions on how to administer it.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
