Rosalie stood at the door, watching Theodore coaxing Steve. She paused in her steps.
It didn't take long for Theodore to calm Steve down. When he saw Steve stop crying, a gentle smile appeared on his face.
"I'm leaving now. I won't disturb you. You and your mom should go to sleep early."
He carefully placed Steve on the bed, but as soon as he let go, Steve started crying again.
Theodore quickly picked him up again and soothed him. "What's wrong, baby?"
After coaxing Steve for a while, Steve stopped crying and began giggling. "Steve, be a good boy and sleep, okay?"
At that moment, Rosalie walked forward. "Theo."
Hearing her voice, Theodore immediately came back to his senses and realized that he had overstepped his boundaries.
"Sorry, I rushed in as soon as I heard him cry. Here, I'll give him back to you."
He wasn't sure why, but when he heard Steve cry, he felt sad. He had an urge to comfort Steve, almost as if it were a responsibility.
Theodore stepped forward and handed Steve to Rosalie.
Rosalie reached out and took Steve from him. "Thank you. You should go now. Drive safe on your way back. It's very late."
Theodore gave one last glance at Steve in Rosalie's arms, feeling reluctant to leave.
Just then, Steve started crying once more. He waved his little hands in the air as if trying to grab something. His mouth was wide open as tears streamed down his face.
"Steve," Rosalie quickly comforted him. "Don't cry, Mommy's here. Don't be afraid."
Rosalie tried her best to soothe him. She then placed Steve on the bed and took off his diaper, realizing that he had peed. She quickly grabbed a new one and changed his diaper.
Rosalie looked at the scene in confusion. "Why does he stop crying when you hold him?"
Could it be the bond between father and son, creating some kind of magnetic force between them?
"I'm not sure. Maybe it's just a coincidence. I'll put him down now. You two should go to sleep," Theodore replied.
Theodore placed Steve back on the bed, but as soon as he did, Steve started crying again. Theodore immediately picked him up, and the crying stopped. It was quite magical, but it seemed like a vicious cycle.
Rosalie couldn't understand it either.
Theodore was puzzled as well. "Rose, what should we do? Every time I put him down, he cries."
Rosalie gently stroked Steve's face, speaking softly. "Steve, why are you doing this? Mr. Spencer needs to rest. Be good, okay? Mommy will sleep with you."
Rosalie was about to take Steve back in her arms, but the moment she did, Steve started to cry again.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
