Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) novel Chapter 1156

Rosalie hurriedly handed the baby to Theodore.

She was at her wits' end. What exactly was going on?

Perhaps this was because they were truly father and son. Sometimes, there were no explanations for things that were simply amazing and mysterious.

Theodore felt energized looking at the baby. Rosalie, on the other hand, was exhausted.

"Rose, why don't I stay here and coax the baby to sleep? You can go to bed first."

"How can I make you do that? You need to rest early."

"But Steve cries each time I put him down. If he keeps crying, it'll disturb you and Justin, or even our neighbors."

"Well…" Rosalie didn't know what to do.

"How about this," Theodore suggested, "I'll give you Steve. If he doesn't cry, I'll leave. If he cries, then do as I say. I'll stay to coax him to sleep and I'll leave once he's asleep, okay?"

Rosalie pondered for a moment before nodding. "Okay, then."

She stretched her arms out to receive the baby.

The moment Theodore put the baby in Rosalie's arms, the baby started crying again. Rosalie herself was on the verge of tears.

After Theodore took Steve and coaxed him for a little while, he stopped crying.

Rosalie put her hand on her forehead, feeling like she was going to go crazy.

"See, I can't leave. I'll put him to sleep. Just go to bed, it'll be fine," Theodore said.

"I'll wait till you put him to sleep," Rosalie said with a yawn. She was utterly exhausted.

"Rose, lie down on the bed. I'll put the baby next to you once he falls asleep and I'll leave. You can't make yourself stay awake when you're so tired. You need to take care of Justin next door on top of the baby."

What Theodore said made sense.

Rosalie didn't reject his suggestion this time. "I'll lie down for a while. Call me when you're leaving."

Theodore nodded. "Alright. Go lie down and rest."

With that, Theodore carried Steve to the living room.

Rosalie yawned and decided to take a nap on the bed, unable to fight the sleepiness any longer.

Theodore's eyes were filled with melancholy and helplessness at the sight of the woman who fell asleep the moment her head hit the pillow.

He carefully shut the door and carried Steve to the living room where he settled down on the couch.
