"And what about you?" Theodore countered. "Rose, when will you finally see what kind of people are around you? Sebastian's two-faced, pretentious, and full of lies. Justin has blood on his hands, with numerous enemies. He's like a ticking time bomb, and both of them will only bring you disaster."
Rosalie sneered. "And how much disaster have you brought me? Do you think the mental torment you've caused me isn't enough?"
Theodore gave a bitter smile. "Rose, do you want me to die to make up for the harm I've caused you?"
"No, I just hope you won't bother me anymore. I have my own life now. Whether it's good or bad, it has nothing to do with you. Once upon a time, Grandma was the last connection between us, but now that she's gone, we have nothing left."
She avoided Theodore's gaze.
"You should go now."
Theodore clenched his fists. "If this is what you want, then I understand. I'll stay away from you in the future and won't bother you again, because, as you said, we have nothing left."
With reddened eyes, Theodore turned and left.
The moment the door closed, he staggered slightly to the side, nearly falling over. He had to lean against the wall to support himself. He raised his hand to clutch his chest, which felt like it was splitting with pain, and walked forward in despair.
When he reached downstairs, he saw Justin lifting Steve high. Steve was laughing happily, and Theodore vaguely heard the child saying, "Dada!"
Theodore felt as though someone had poured salt on his already broken heart. How many fathers had this child acknowledged?
Theodore clenched his fists, a burning jealousy igniting in his chest. He was furious, but deep down, he knew the real reason for his anger: no matter how many fathers the child acknowledged, he was never one of them.
He remembered that when he held Steve previously, Steve had also called him "Dada." At that moment, he truly felt like Steve's father.
But… Was Steve really Sebastian's child? Why wasn't Sebastian putting more effort into visiting Steve?

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
