Theodore turned around. "Is there something else?"
Justin walked over. "Do you want to hold him? He seems eager to hug you."
Theodore paused. Then, he gave a helpless smile at the corner of his mouth.
"No, you take him upstairs."
The more he held Steve, the harder it would be to let go. He didn't even know why he felt such strong emotions for Steve. Perhaps it was because Steve was Rosalie's child, and thus, he couldn't help but care for the baby.
Seeing this, Justin didn't insist. He was about to leave when suddenly, Steve started crying in his arms. Steve stretched out his hands toward Theodore, trying to reach him.
Hearing the cries, Theodore's heart tightened. He turned around and saw Justin trying to soothe the child.
"Steve, what's wrong? Are you hungry? I'll take you back right away."
Steve continued crying, louder and louder, and Theodore felt as if his heart were being squeezed. His feet felt like they were nailed to the ground, and he couldn't move.
Justin took a few steps before turning back and noticing that Theodore still hadn't left. After a moment of thought, he walked toward him. "Why don't you try calming him down?"
Actually, Theodore was quite pitiable. Everyone except him knew Steve was his child.
Although Theodore had been terrible to Rosalie, he wasn't a wicked person. As a man, Justin naturally understood the feelings of other men. Compared to Sebastian, Theodore was far better.
Women understood women, so they could tell at one glance if other women were bitches, while men would have no clue. Similarly, men could tell each other's intentions immediately, while women were sometimes deceived by men.
Theodore's fingers trembled slightly. He wiped his hands on his body and then carefully extended his arms to take Steve into his embrace. He said gently, "Steve, what's wrong?"
Steve cried for quite a while in Theodore's arms, burying his face in Theodore's chest. Under Theodore's gentle soothing, he finally stopped crying.
Theodore let out a soft sigh of relief. He took out a handkerchief from his suit pocket and carefully wiped away Steve's tears.
Steve looked pitiful, his eyes red and his little mouth trembling. His long eyelashes fluttered, and he gazed up at Theodore with his big eyes, calling out for "Dada" and "Mama."

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
